Welcome to "Heir" -- The Alexander Fanlisting.  Or, to be more specific, that's Prince Alexander of Daventry (a character in the highly successful computer game series, King's Quest).  He wasn't always called that, though.  You see, Alexander and his twin sister Rosella were born to King Graham and Queen Valanice of Daventry.  One day, when Alexander was just a baby, he was kidnapped from Daventry.  He grew up in slavery, "owned" by an evil magician named Manannan.  Alexander's name back then was "Gwydion."  Eventually, Alexander escaped from Manannan (in King's Quest III: To Heir is Human), and his travels took him back to Daventry, where he learned by the end of KQ3 that he was, in fact, the long-lost prince Alexander.  Later, Alexander starred in yet another KQ game, King's Quest VI: Heir Today, Gone Tomorrow (are you seeing a theme in these titles?  that's why I named this fanlisting "Heir").  In that game, he took it upon himself to rescue the love of his life, Princess Cassima, from the dangerous forces that had overtaken her kingdom, The Land of the Green Isles.  (The picture in the above banner was taken from the opening sequence of KQ6.)
