Welcome to "Breeze It, Buzz It," the fanlisting for the song "Cool" from the musical West Side Story.

There are two different versions of "Cool." In the stage show, "Cool" is sung by Riff and the other Jets
before their meeting with their rivals, the Sharks. In the movie, the song is sung by the Jets in a deserted
garage following their disasterous "rumble" with the Sharks (during which, their leader Riff and the
Sharks leader Bernardo, were both killed). Ice, now the de-facto leader of the Jets, leads the Jets and their
girlfriends in singing as he urges them all to remain "cool" and not to lose it completely in case the cops come
after them asking questions about what went down at the rumble. While singing, the Jets and their girls dance
wildly around the garage, releasing their tension and grief over Riff's untimely death.
