Welcome to "Beyond Blackest Pitch." This is a fanlisting for the
relationship between three characters from the anime series, "Slayers" (NEXT)
-- Hellmaster Phibrizo, Lina Inverse and the Lord of Nightmares. This
might seem like a strange subject for a fanlisting to some...but this is
one of my favorite relationships in the series. I'll try to summarize
it in a way that might help people understand why I created this site.
Phibrizo (an evil being/mazoku) wants Lina (a powerful sorceress) to
cast the Giga Slave. The Giga Slave invokes the power of the mother
of all things, the Lord of Nightmares. Phibrizo believes (and hopes)
that Lina will lose control of the spell and basically end up destroying
the world. Lina is terrified at the thought of casting the Giga Slave
-- but Phibrizo will do whatever it takes to convince her to go through with
it...even going so far as to threaten the lives of her loved ones. The
events that unfold following Lina's final decision are, in a word,
extraodrinary.
What is a fanlisting? A fanlisting is a group of fans from all over
the world of one particular subject. In this case the subject is
Phibrizo/Lina/LoN's relationship. "Beyond Blackest Pitch" (the title
comes from the incantation for the Giga Slave) is also proud to be approved
